About Me
My name is Per Kristian Stoveland, I was born in Norway, and I’m about to cross the 30 years of age barrier. I established this site as a presentation of me and my work. I have an equivalent to a bachelor degree in Graphic Design which i took at Westerdals School Of Communication in 2003. This school is Norways most renowned private school in the field of design, art direction and copywriting.
After a my graduation i started freelancing, and during this time a friend of mine had established a website for his up-and-coming band. When he presented his webpage, i commented that this page was less than mediocre, and found myself wagering that i could make something MUCH more sleek in design. This was my entry to world wide web publishing, more spesific, flash.
Not long after, i was introduced to a company that specialized in digital magazine publishing. This company had just started and I was privileged to join in on building of the company. The idea of the digital magazine was to keep the linear reading experience which we all are accustomed to, flipping a page to read the next content, but at the same time add all that web can offer: animation, interactivity, sound, video etc. You can visit the old site at www.magwerk.com. After a few years the company was bought up, renamed to Blogform Digital Magazines and was set on a correct course for the future. We had a well experienced promotional team, and now have a large array of high-end customers. I have recently been set up as the senior actionscripter of the firm, and just started to delve into the realm of Flex.
